We are honored that you have chosen us as your child's primary care pediatric office and are confident that you will be pleased with the quality of care that we provide to you and your family.

A vital part of our practice is our outstanding staff who work hard to manage and maintain a professional, caring and supportive environment for our patients. Our practitioners are lifelong learners. Not only have they received advanced medical training specific to pediatrics, but they continually pursue ongoing education to stay up to date in pediatric medicine.

Stephanie Dixon, CCMA / Clinic Coordinator

Stephanie has been at Sewanee Pediatrics as a medical assistant since April, 2006 and then became employed by Lifepoint Health Systems at Southern Tennessee Pediatrics - Sewanee in April 2023. In August, 2024, she became the clinic coordinator and a certified medial assistant. She lives near Foster Falls with her husband, 2 children, 5 cats, and 2 dogs.

Tonya Metcalfe, Receptionist

Tonya graduated from GCHS in 1995. She lives in Monteagle, TN. She has two children, Maddie and Tristan, and two dogs, Anna and Addi. Tonya has been employed with Sewanee Pediatrics since August 1, 2022. She is currently enrolled online with AIU for her Bachelors of Science in Criminal Justice- Forensic Specialization.

Kayla Nunley, CCMA

Kayla lives in Tracy City with her two children, Sadie and Kailo. She has been employed with Sewanee Pediatrics since October 2022. She has a farm, and loves all of her animals. She would like to go back to school one day in hopes to become a flight paramedic.

Sheena Shrum, CCMA/ Receptionist

Sheena lives in Monteagle, TN with her husband, their two children Jayden and Bella, and their two dogs and cat. She has been employed with Sewanee Pediatrics since October 2023. She also works as a caregiver on the weekends. Sheena hopes to one day go back to school to become a RN for labor and delivery.
